Dr. Ahmad Thougan Hindawi

Experience

Former Minister of Industry and Trade of Jordan and former Director General of Jordan’s Standards and Metrology Institution both winners of King Abdullah II Award of Government Excellence in 2003 and 2005 consecutively. Head of the Board of Assessors, assessor, senior consultant for several Arab excellence award programs including Dubai Government Excellence Program (DGEP), Sheikh Khalifah Excellence Award, Minister of Interior Excellence Award, King Abdullah II Award for Excellence and Egypt Excellence Award. Under his leadership, HEG, under Dr. Hindawi’s Leadership, restructured more than 60 organizations in the UAE and the region over the past 13 years institutionalizing the culture of excellence within such organizations. Head and member of the Boards of Directors for several economic and industrial organizations in the Arab world. Jordan’s candidate for the position of Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2013.

Dr. Hindawi has completed the Senior Executive Leadership Training Program at Harvard Business School in 2018, he has a Ph.D. in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial Management from the University of Birmingham in the UK in 1998, a MSC Industrial Engineering from the University of Jordan in 1994, a BSC in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University in the USA in 1988, He is an EFQM certified assessor and trainer.

Eng. Jumanah Al-Dmour is an institutional excellence consultant and assessor. She is an EFQM Certified Assessor, Accredited Trainer, and Certified Validator. She has more than eight years of experience in excellence, strategic planning, and related fields. She has been an lead assessor and assessor to a large number of Internal and national excellence awards for government agencies in Dubai & Abu-Dhabi. Such as DEWA Internal Excellence Award, Al-Barakah Excellence Award (Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation ENEC), Al-Dana Excellence Award (Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi EAD), etc. She managed and participated in the implementation of excellence projects for several government departments in Dubai & Abu Dhabi including Abu Dhabi Exhibition Company (ADNEC), which was shortlisted in 7 categories out of 9, and won in 3 awards in ADAEP 2017 cycle, Road and Transport Authority in Dubai (RTA), Ministry of Health & Prevention (MOHAP), Department of Economic Development in Dubai (DED), etc.

Ms. Al Assal works at Hindawi Excellence group in the field of Excellence advisory and assessment. She has more than 10 years of experience in Business & Excellence Advisory, including conducting assessment for many Government Entities according to different Excellence awards categories’ Criteria in Jordan and UAE. Her works include supporting clients in meeting awards criteria, providing training workshops, preparing award submission files and other related documents. Ms. Al Assal also works on business advisory projects include developing comprehensive HR systems, conducting market research and analysis, designing surveys, conducting economic feasibility studies for new businesses or an expansion of existing ones, developing and preparing business & Strategic plans including facilitating the strategic planning process from drafting vision, mission, values and SMART strategic objectives until setting the detailed action plans. In addition to managing the projects in terms of Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with all stakeholders and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
